  • Details of outside supplies supplied by the supplier will be made accessible in GSTR-2A to the recipient.
  • The recipient has to check, validate, and alter the details of outside supplies, and also file details of credit or debit notes.
  • The recipient has to supply the details of inside supplies of taxable goods and services in the GSTR-2 form.

 What are the different types of GST Returns?

GSTR-3 The registered taxable person must file monthly returns on the basis of finalization of details of outward supplies and inward supplies plus the payment of the amount of tax. 20th of the following month.
GSTR-4 The composition supplier must file quarterly returns. 18th of the month succeeding quarter.
GSTR-5 Return for non-resident taxable persons. 20th of the subsequent month.
GSTR-6 Return for input service distributor. 13th of the subsequent month.
GSTR-7 Return for authorities carrying out tax deduction at source. 10th of the subsequent month.
GSTR-8 E-commerce operators or tax collectors must file details of supplies affected and the amount of tax collected. 10th of the subsequent month.
GSTR-9 A registered taxable person must file an annual return. 31 December of the next financial year.
GSTR-10 A taxable person whose registration has been canceled or surrendered must file a final return. Within 3 months from the date of cancellation or cancellation order, whichever is later
GSTR-11 A person having UIN claiming a refund must file details of inward supplies. 28th of the month, following the month

 

 

Due Dates of Filing GSTR – 1, 2, 3 and 3B

GSTR-1 Quarterly Filing

For annual sales up to Rs 1.5 a year, you can choose to submit quarterly.

  1. Jan-Mar 2020- Due date is 30th April 2020
  2. Apr-Jun 2020- Due date is 31st July 2020
  3. Jul-Sept 2020- Due date is 31st October 2020

Monthly Filing

Annual turnover of more than Rs 1.5 crore must file monthly:

  1. January 2020- Due date is 11th February 2020
  2. February 2020- Due date is 11th March 2020
  3. March 2020- Due date is 11th April 2020
  4. April 2020- Due date is 11th May 2020
  5. May 2020- Due date is 11th June 2020
  6. June 2020- due date is 11th July 2020
  7. July 2020- due date is 11th August 2020
  8. August 2020- due date is 11th September 2020
  9. September 2020- Due date is 11th October 2020

GSTR-2 and GSTR-3

The filing of these forms is currently suspended.

GSTR-3B

GSTR-3B is a monthly summary return submitted by all taxpayers except taxpayers registered under the composition scheme.

Aggregate turnover exceeding Rs 5 crore in the previous financial year: Due date is 20th February 2020

Aggregate turnover less than or equal to Rs 5 crore in the previous financial year: due date for X states 22nd February 2020 and for Y states 24th February 2020.
